Our students bring Panamarenko's world to life, featured by Focus & WTV
We’re incredibly proud to share that the VR experience developed by our students has been featured by Focus & WTV.
As part of this unique project, our students combined creativity, technology, and storytelling to create an immersive VR experience inspired by the visionary work of Panamarenko. Known for his extraordinary flying machines, imaginative inventions, and boundary-pushing artistic vision, Panamarenko continues to inspire audiences with his unique blend of art, science, and engineering.
By translating his world into virtual reality, our students are not only showcasing their technical and creative skills, they are also helping preserve and celebrate Panamarenko’s legacy in a contemporary way. The experience offers visitors a new perspective on his work, allowing them to interact with his ideas in ways that would otherwise be impossible. In doing so, it makes his remarkable imagination more accessible and engaging for younger audiences who have grown up with digital technologies.
This recognition is a wonderful testament to the talent, dedication, and hard work of our students. Projects like these demonstrate the power of interdisciplinary collaboration and show how technology can create meaningful new ways to experience cultural heritage while honoring the vision of one of Belgium’s most iconic artists.
Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. We’re delighted to see our students’ work reaching a wider audience and contributing to keeping Panamarenko’s legacy alive for future generations.
